COVID-19: FWC Champions FC embark on 6-week break

Effective from March 20, 2020, FWC Champions FC will embark on a compulsory six weeks break as a precautionary measure against the
COVID-19 spread.

This decision was taken after the club Chairman, Pastor Yakubu Adamu Yola held a meeting with the entire staff of the club at his office on Friday, March 20.

The COVID-19 pandemic might not be affecting Nigeria on the scale it is ravaging other countries of the world but FWC Champions FC, in compliance to the directive already issued by the FCT FA and the NFF at large will join the sporting world to curb the spread.

Pastor Yakubu Yola therefore, urged players and staff to stay safe and observe all precautionary measures while away at home.

The club has therefore, agreed on a tentative resumption date of 4th of May with hope that virus is being contained.
